Prompted by the unexpected appearance on my dash of some reenactors I know, here is a video of the impromptu music night at Schloss Eichenzell, Fulda, back in August. On the right, you can see me playing poorly among Germans who clearly know “how to music” much better.

Also, lo and behold, some guys from my American war of independence group are visible idling around the musicians’ circle.

My sergeant and my ensign. Good-looking guys, ain’t they?

What I did at Schloß Fasanerie, Eichenzell, Fulda, 9 August 2014. A cameraman from a German web tv even recorded me while I practised.

Look who’s fucking finally gotten her uniform coat? Meeeeee.
My face is what it is because the photo was taken shortly after a truly good battle.

More pictures of the San Martino reenactment from last Sunday. This time with me in all my flag-carrying everything-you-see-is-borrowed-oversized-equipment glory, Franz Joseph, and a cannon.
Someone that day told me I looked like the good soldier Švejk in that Austrian 1850s uniform. Cannot deny I am pleased.
