fyeahhistorymajorheraldicbeast: Seriously. His life, his music; too many emotions. Shostakovich is the reason why I first started listening systematically to pre-rock music. And one of the reasons why I tried to learn Russian. Oh and have I mentioned looking out the siege of Leningrad, the 1930s in Soviet Union and all that jazz? Well, yeah.
